Given the critical nature of our work, it s vital that we recruit skilled and committed individuals to our team; as our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you ll help us do just that.As Talent Acquisition Specialist you ll join our Police Staff Resourcing team to help attract outstanding individuals to the CNC. You ll take ownership of the recruitment and selection of our technical, specialist, and key vacancies by supporting our Direct Hire strategy. You ll build and develop talent pools for future requirements by proactively direct sourcing and outreach to passive candidates and continuously enhance our inclusive recruitment experience.You ll work with the Recruitment Manager to engage internal stakeholders and work alongside hiring managers to take vacancy briefings, paired with your market research, to inform the recruitment strategy for each campaign. You ll also be responsible for raising the CNC s profile more widely and networking by attending local recruitment and careers events and helping to make the CNC a local employer of choice, with a focus on our HQ in Oxfordshire and office in Cumbria therefore you ll need to be willing to travel to these areas around once per month.To be successful in this role you ll be experienced within a talent acquisition role (preferably in-house, but this isn t essential) with a track record of recruiting a broad range of positions (including professional services/technical/specialist roles) on a national level by using passive and proactive sourcing techniques. Ideally you will be part or fully CIPD, have completed an AIRS (Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies) course or hold a similar qualification. You ll have excellent communication and networking skills, gained by liaising and engaging with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
