Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the HR team at Alternative Heat's Head Office in Banbridge, focusing on generating talent pipelines and supporting recruitment strategies within the construction and M&E sectors. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, managing the recruitment lifecycle, and enhancing the employer brand. The position is a fixed-term contract for one year, emphasizing a collaborative team approach and continuous growth. The ideal candidate will have significant recruitment experience and a passion for making a difference in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to provide strategic support for departmental recruitment needs.
  • Source candidates and build talent pipelines using a multi-channel approach.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, assessments, interviews, and offers.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies to ensure quality candidate sourcing.
  • Oversee international recruitment via the UKVI Skilled Worker Route.
  • Maintain and update the recruitment database in a timely manner.
  • Monitor industry best practices and implement process improvements.
  • Produce and monitor recruitment KPIs, including Time to Hire.
  • Build and maintain internal relationships within the HR team and across the business.
  • Develop outreach relationships with schools and universities for future candidate identification.
  • Support the HR team with the company induction process and manage ad-hoc recruitment projects.
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage high volume recruitment campaigns.
  • Experience with best practice recruitment methods and online recruitment systems.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
  • Relevant business-related degree or HR qualification (desirable).
  • Experience using pinpoint/LinkedIn Recruiter (desirable).
  • Strong organizational and influencing skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker capable of building talent pipelines aligned with growth plans.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
