Summary: This role as a Talent Acquisition Partner involves managing the entire hiring process, supporting key projects, and mentoring Talent Acquisition Advisors. The position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service to candidates and hiring managers. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth candidate screening calls to assess suitability and ensure an excellent first impression of the business.
- Proactively headhunt and talent pool for current and future vacancies using LinkedIn.
- Prepare and present insights and recommendations for hard-to-fill roles.
- Manage a fair and transparent internal and external hiring process to build a diverse workforce.
- Onboard successful applicants, including creating contracts and obtaining references.
- Create and place engaging adverts on job boards, social media, and the company website.
- Liaise with hiring managers, candidates, and third parties to arrange interviews and assessment days.
- Support business Graduate hiring and manage university partnerships.
- Assist the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner on continuous improvement recruitment projects.
- Act as a brand ambassador, providing an excellent candidate experience.
- Design and deliver hiring manager training on processes and market changes.
- Manage and maintain reports for DEI and KPIs, providing insights for improvement.
Key Skills:
- Prior in-house recruitment experience hiring a variety of skillsets.
- Experience coaching and mentoring other talent acquisition professionals.

Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Talent Acquisition Partner, where you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire hiring process. You will deputise for the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner when required, and support on the delivery of key projects and act as a coach / mentor to our Talent Acquisition Advisor to continue their development. Working closely with stakeholders to embed yourself into their business units by understanding their needs and delivering outstanding service to both candidates & stakeholders. This is a minimum 10 Month Fixed Term Contract with possibility of extension – maternity cover.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Hiring: Conduct in-depth candidate screening calls to assess suitability and ensure we give excellent first impression of the business.
- Using LinkedIn to pro-actively headhunt & talent pool for current and future vacancies within your remit.
- Prepare and present insights and recommendations where roles are proving hard-to-fill
- Manage a fair & transparent internal & external hiring process contributing to us building a diverse and future ready workforce.
- Onboard successful applicants, including creating and sending contracts of employment, new starter documentation and obtaining references.
- Create and place engaging adverts on various job boards, social media, our internal intranet, and our website.
- Liaise with hiring managers, candidates and 3rd parties to arrange interviews, assessment days and booking meeting rooms accordingly.
- Support business Graduate hiring – managing plans, scheduling, candidate sourcing, university partnerships and designing assessment centres
- Provide your support to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner on continuous improvement recruitment projects as requested.
- Stakeholder & Branding: Act as a brand ambassador for the business, providing an excellent candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
- Embed yourself as the ‘go to’ hiring partner for all business stakeholders within your remit, fully understanding what they do, how they do it and how to attract talent in these areas.
- Design and deliver regular hiring manager training to keep managers updated on processes and keeping them updated with market changes.
- Reporting: Manage and maintain reports for DEI and KPIs – providing insights and observations on areas for improvement.
What you'll need:
- Prior inhouse recruitment experience hiring a variety of skillsets
- Experience coaching and mentoring other talent acquisition professionals
- Skilled head-hunter, using LinkedIn and other sourcing routes to pro-actively source talent for live vacancies and talent pools
- Excellent communication skills, confident talking to stakeholders of all levels and building lasting relationships.
- Experience using and making improvements to Applicant Tracking System (ATS) & hiring processes
- Analytical skills – able to run reports, analyse the data and turn data into useful insights
- Project delivery – delivery of smaller changes / improvements through systems & processes
- Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively within a team environment and being a supportive team member
- Outstanding organisation skills, able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks
