Talent Acquisition Partner - Fixed Term until September 2027

Posted 3 days ago by Mining Remediation Authority

Can you help us find the people who will shape our future? We’re looking for an experienced recruitment professional to join our People and Organisational Development team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

This role is being recruited at an exciting time for the Mining Remediation Authority as we strengthen our approach to recruitment, talent attraction and workforce planning.

With the current postholder supporting a major organisational project, this is a chance to lead and improve our recruitment service while helping to deliver a busy programme of recruitment activity over the next 12 months.

You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy, but as part of a supportive People and Organisational Development team.

As our recruitment and talent activity evolves, you’ll help maintain strong talent pipelines, support managers and make sure we have the people and skills we need for the future.

What You'll Bring

  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of a busy recruitment workload.
  • The ability to manage multiple vacancies at the same time, balance priorities and keep campaigns on track.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to advise hiring managers and support fair, inclusive and effective selection.
  • Hands-on sourcing experience, including using LinkedIn Talent Solutions, professional networks and targeted search to find candidates for specialist or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Confidence using an applicant tracking system and digital recruitment tools, with good attention to detail and a practical approach to improving how recruitment works.
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative style, with the ability to quickly build trust, bring energy and fresh thinking, and leave recruitment in a stronger place than you found it.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead day-to-day recruitment activity across the organisation, managing a varied portfolio of live vacancies from approval through to offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand what they need, shape campaign plans, advise on attraction routes and keep recruitment activity moving.
  • Use LinkedIn Talent Solutions, professional networks and targeted search to identify and engage candidates for hard-to-fill and specialist roles.
  • Use recruitment data and feedback from managers and candidates to understand what is working well, what could be better and where we can make practical improvements.
  • This is a role where you can make a visible difference in 12 months by improving how we attract talent and supporting the workforce planning we need for the future.

If you’re excited by the opportunity, we’d love to hear from you. To find out more about the role, take a look at the job description.

We don’t expect candidates to meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we've identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you!
