Summary: The role of Tableau + Python + Snowflake Developer involves developing and enhancing existing dashboards while utilizing SQL and Python for data analysis. The contractor will work closely with data engineering and production teams to implement changes and manage stakeholder queries. Advanced Tableau skills are essential, alongside experience in data transformation and migrating Tableau processes. The position is based in Edinburgh and operates in a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and run SQL and Python code, downloading results as needed.
- Develop and enhance existing Tableau dashboards for new business units.
- Analyze root source data to address business queries promptly.
- Transform data and migrate Tableau processes between domains.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams for Snowflake changes.
- Work with production teams to deploy Tableau reports.
- Manage stakeholder queries from senior users regarding data.
- Provide regular technical progress updates on development workstreams.

Contractor will be picking up existing dashboards and then redeveloping and enhancing them as new business units are added to overall data model or business leads ask for further analytics of existing data
