Summary: The Tableau Engineer role at Synechron involves designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and other team members to gather requirements and understand data needs.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business improvements.
  • Optimize Tableau reports for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data validation processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau best practices and data visualization techniques.
  • Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and data visualization trends to continuously enhance our reporting capabilities.
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices in data analytics and visualization.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Tableau dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data warehousing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a plus.
