Summary: The Systems Manufacturing Software Programmer role involves generating and amending machine programs and product build documentation to meet customer specifications. The position requires timely completion of NPI projects and effective implementation of program generation requirements to ensure customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes quality management and compliance with operational procedures. The successful candidate will work with various software and engineering tools to optimize production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete all NPI projects by agreed timescales.
- Download all Syspro BOM.
- Use customer drawings, component datasheets, CAD, and Gerber to set up new projects in Factory Logix.
- Panelise data and pass it into Fuji.
- Research new parts and ensure correct shapes are associated with all parts.
- Optimize Fuji programs for maximum efficiency.
- Create LASER, ETCH, DEK & SPI base programs.
- Create AOI CAD files for base programs at Inline and main inspection AOI.
- Create and issue label instructions.
- Create axial and radial placement programs.
- Carry out first and second checks on programs.
- Communicate concerns and issues to Axiom and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Issue all build paperwork in both hard and soft copy prior to project start in production.
- Maintain control paperwork for each project.
- Ensure all MRP orders are ready for production.
- Action and check all completed ECN and build deviations.
- Complete all program modification paperwork for Fuji program modifications.
- Adhere to company operating values and compliance procedures, including quality management, health and safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary.

- SMT component knowledge (desirable).
- Machine programming (desirable).
- Electronic engineering / PCB manufacturing knowledge.
