Summary: The Systems Engineer role involves supporting a high-priority sonar system export project for an Australian defence client within a leading defence and maritime company. Key Responsibilities:
- Work across the full systems engineering lifecycle, prioritising Systems Documentation
- Interface with UK and Australian stakeholders to understand customer requirements and manage expectations
- Review and support design artefacts, documentation, and systems analysis activities
- Conduct trade-off analysis and design assessments
- Maintain strict control of project scope and change, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual agreements
- Provide technical support to the Project Engineering Lead and Systems Design Authority
Key Skills:
- Proven capability in requirements management, design documentation, and engineering change
- Comfortable with customer and stakeholder engagement, including pushing back where needed
