As a contract Systems Engineer, you are hired to design, integrate, verify, and validate complex engineered systems, applying a holistic engineering approach that considers how all elements of a system, including hardware, software, human operators, and operational environment, work together to deliver the required capability. Systems Engineering is a discipline with particular depth in aerospace, defence, rail, nuclear, space, and complex infrastructure programmes, where the integration challenges of multi-component systems with long development lifecycles and critical safety requirements demand a structured and rigorous engineering approach.
