Systems Developer (c# Azure Data Factory)

Summary: The Systems Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining internal systems and applications to enhance business operations over a 3-6 month contract. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and the integration of systems using Azure Data Factory. The developer will also ensure software quality through testing and documentation. This hybrid role involves one day onsite in the North West of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain bespoke internal systems and applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Integrate internal systems with third-party platforms and APIs
• Develop data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory
• Ensure robust error handling and logging across integrated systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
• Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support deployment and monitoring
• Experience of one or more software/technical development delivery approaches such as Waterfall, SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, etc.
• Experience of analysing business requirements, documenting system design, developing objects/code, unit testing and deployment

Key Skills:

• C#
• Azure Data Factory
• Strong systems integration experience
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion (advantageous but not essential)
• Familiarity with Azure Service Bus

Salary (Rate): £400/day
