Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for internal systems, resolving issues via email, phone, and in person
  • Carry out daily and weekly operational system tasks
  • Monitor system processes and investigate anomalies, escalating where required
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new processes
  • Administer user access and maintain accurate permissions
  • Produce and analyse data reports using management information systems
  • Support data reconciliation activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity across systems

Key Skills:

  • Higher Education experience would be highly desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing and interrogating data
  • Experience providing customer-focused support across multiple channels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
  • High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach

MLC Partners are supporting a leading Russell Group University in recruiting an interim Systems Administrator. This is a busy and varied role, where you will play a key part in supporting and maintaining critical systems, ensuring smooth operation across key processes.

The Role

As a Systems Administrator, you will join a central operations team, providing first-line support for core systems. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve system issues, maintain data integrity, and contribute to ongoing system improvements and enhancements.
