Summary: The role is for a Systems Accountant specializing in Oracle FCC (Financial Close and Consolidation) Implementation, requiring specific experience in financial reporting or controllership. The position is interim for 12 months and involves acting as the finance lead for the Oracle implementation within a family office in Mayfair. The candidate will support the CFO in enhancing financial processes and reporting while ensuring compliance and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CFO in delivering a more regular, robust and analytical approach to monthly and year-end close processes.
- Improve the quality, timeliness and efficiency of entity-level and consolidated financial reporting.
- Ensure consistency and compliance of accounting policies and reporting standards across the Group.
- Act as the finance lead and primary point of contact for the Oracle Cloud FCC implementation.
- Own end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, completeness and accuracy.
- Lead the design and implementation of new finance processes, controls and governance within the Oracle Cloud environment.
- Oversee and manage the interaction of third-party administrators and external providers within the system.
- Serve as a system “champion”, providing training, guidance and ongoing support to colleagues to maximise adoption and benefits.
- Lead the development of automated, insightful management reporting.
- Deliver integrated reporting across all Group entities.
- Enhance analytical capability to support informed decision-making at both Group and entity level.
- Support statutory audits across multiple entities within the Group.
- Assist with external reporting requirements, including regulatory filings and tax-related reporting.
- Act as a key liaison with external auditors, advisors and regulators as required.
- Support Group cash flow management and forecasting activities.
- Lead the development and implementation of more formal treasury operations, including policies and procedures.
- Support ad hoc finance projects and strategic initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Oracle FCC (Financial Close and Consolidation) implementation.
