Summary: The Finance Systems Accountant role at a fast-growing SME in Southampton involves designing and developing solutions for system implementation, managing the end-to-end project process, and enhancing operational efficiency. The position requires testing configuration changes and adhering to change processes for significant system modifications. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements and some travel to UK sites. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and relevant qualifications or experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions for the implementation of two systems
- Own and take responsibility for the end-to-end process surrounding the project
- Lead on the continuous improvement of operational and process efficiency
- Perform testing of configuration changes to various applications and reports
- Follow a change process for significant system or data changes
Key Skills:
- Experience of implementing IT systems (ERP, CRM)
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Qualified Accountant or QBE
