Key Responsibilities:
- Set up seating attribute test assets and develop test cases.
- Execute tests, report results, and debug issues.
- Lead cross-functional technical reviews on attribute test and integration status.
- Define feature test plans for upcoming programs ensuring coverage of all specifications.
- Assist in the sign-off of seating features across client vehicles.
- Provide technical support for issue resolution and data analysis.
- Support the definition and execution of attribute test cases as part of system design and validation.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by the line manager.
Key Skills:
- Experience in attributes testing.
- Relevant experience in authoring automotive attribute test cases.
- Familiarity with Requirement and Test Case management software (e.g., TRM, XRAY).
- Ability to analyze technical problems and provide pragmatic solutions.
- Positive attitude, proactivity, and willingness to engage.
- Strong communication skills for complex engineering topics.
- Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies (desirable).
- Knowledge of UDS, XCP, CAN, LIN, Ethernet protocols (desirable).

Job Description This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse / dynamic / collaborative / agile team delivering full seating functionality through robust requirements, test cases, integration and testing activities. We are looking for an engineer with a customer first mindset, diagnostics and issue resolution skills. This role is responsible for the seating attribute test asset set-up, test cases development, features test support, test execution, diagnostics, result reporting and issue debugging.
Key Performance Indicators Verification and Validation – Design, develop and execute attribute level test cases Lead cross-functional technical reviews on the attribute test & integration status Adhere to and support the defined client’s testing procedures Report issues and track resolution status Define feature test plan for upcoming programmes ensuring coverage of all seating feature specifications Laise with fleet asset owners to support attribute test plan sign-off activities
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Sign-off of seating features across the range of client’s vehicles. Assist and contribute to the generation of targets and verification methods that are driven by attribute requirements Provide technical support for issue resolution and objective data analysis The focus of this role will be supporting the definition and execution of attribute test cases as part of the system’s design and validation processes. Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
