System Integrator- Luxury Automotive Brand

Location: Goodwood, Chichester (On-site)

Assignment Type: Temporary (ongoing via Hays)

Pay: Competitive hourly rate

We are looking for a System Integrator, who will be responsible as a subject-matter expert in Squeak & Rattle performance across all vehicle derivatives.

This role is based in Goodwood. The department you will work within is involved in sustaining the consistent high quality of our products throughout their entire life cycle, from concept through to production. The range of expertise within the team spans complex analysis and precision measurement, enabling potential issues to be swiftly identified, contained, and resolved. In addition, intricate dynamic topics are investigated through track and road testing, with further analysis conducted within the workshop environment.

Squeak & Rattle Launch Projects

Ensure new model launches meet agreed standards for noiseless vehicles through: Virtual validation; Extensive testing; Cross-functional collaboration; Solution validation; Project reporting

Root Cause Analysis

Working within a specialist Squeak & Rattle team, lead the analysis and resolution of Squeak & Rattle related issues in series production vehicles and launch projects.

Implement short-term containment actions and long-term corrective solutions in collaboration with engineering teams in Munich and Goodwood.

Support the prevention of production disruptions through effective issue resolution.

Problem Handshake

Engage with Module Leaders and SE Team Leaders in Munich to collaboratively address and resolve issues.

Testing Process

Work with the specialist team to plan, coordinate and execute testing processes and validation measures.

Acoustic Proxy

Conduct root cause analysis of acoustic issues in series vehicles.

Support acoustic engineers during launch periods.

Hydropulse Facility Management

Support the update and management of software and profiles for the Hydropulse facility; Ensure the facility remains effective for both analysis activities and production testing requirements.

What Should You Bring Along?

Bachelor's Degree or HNC in an Engineering discipline, and/or a Level 6 Engineering Apprenticeship; Experience using problem-solving and quality tools; Experience using CAD for vehicle analysis; Sound knowledge of vehicle engineering concepts, vehicle design principles, and specialist acoustic components or materials used within vehicles; Awareness of general vehicle assembly processes.
