Summary: As a NICHE System Administrator specializing in policing, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing secure IT environments that manage classified law enforcement data. You will oversee the management of the NICHE database and ensure the protection of sensitive information through access controls and encryption measures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, configure, and optimize secure police IT systems and networks.
  • Oversee criminal intelligence databases, evidence management platforms, and officer communication tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Office guidelines, CJIS security policies, and GDPR regulations.
  • Implement access controls and encryption measures to protect sensitive law enforcement data.
  • Monitor real-time system performance, proactively identifying security threats or vulnerabilities.
