Key Responsibilities:
- Installations, configurations, and migrations of storage systems.
- Provide operational support and on-call support for storage systems.
- Monitor components of storage systems including volumes, LUNs, disks, and logs.
- Manage incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies.
- Oversee backup management and perform health checks.
- Monitor backup jobs, schedules, and logs to ensure successful backups.
- Conduct storage health checkups and performance monitoring.
- Troubleshoot issues related to storage systems.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, and Cisco/Brocade SAN switches.
- Proficiency in EMC Data Domain, Networker, and ECS for backup solutions.
- Knowledge of VMware and Linux/RedHat operating systems.
- Strong skills in incident, change, and problem management.
- Ability to plan and execute disaster recovery.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting storage systems.
