Summary: The Symology Administrator role at Morrow Contracts involves managing administrative tasks related to excavation projects in collaboration with NI Water. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure timely updates and accurate data management within the symology system. The administrator will also schedule work for supervisors and handle complex data with attention to detail. This is a full-time office-based position in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all future excavations are updated on the System in a timely manner
- Liaise closely with Northern Ireland Water Staff via email and phone to ensure internal job references are created in advance
- Update the system with "status updates" to ensure work is also closed off within a specific timeframe and where required, replan excavation dates
- Attach maps and insert comments on the symology system
- Monitor our internal job control system to ensure all information is correct and maps are marked accordingly
- Schedule work for the Supervisors on the symology system for various divisions: Water, Sewers and Meters, including any traffic management requirements as agreed with Road Service
- Handle complex data with excellent attention to detail and correct where required
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
