Are you ready to turn sustainability ambition into measurable change? The University of Salford is looking for a Sustainability Programmes Manager to lead a portfolio of high-impact programmes that will help us deliver our Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero Carbon Plan. You’ll play a central role in embedding sustainability across university life, working on priority areas including responsible procurement, sustainability communications and engagement, and sustainability reporting, benchmarking and performance. This is a varied and influential role where you’ll translate strategy into practical plans, use data to improve performance, and work with colleagues, students, suppliers and partners to create positive environmental and social impact. We’re looking for someone with experience of leading complex programmes or projects, strong knowledge of environmental sustainability, and the ability to communicate, influence and work across organisational boundaries.
