Summary: The Supporter Contact Officer at ActionAid UK is responsible for delivering exceptional multi-channel supporter care, acting as the first point of contact for supporters. Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the voice of ActionAid, building rapport and working with colleagues across the organisation to resolve supporter queries and problems
  • Providing information about ongoing appeals, campaigns and child sponsorships
  • Processing payments and looking into transactions
  • Maintaining supporter records and recording communications
  • Discussing the work of ActionAid and our range of products
  • Handling complaints and complex queries

We’re looking for a committed, empathetic and highly skilled Supporter Contact Officer to deliver an exceptional multi-channel supporter care service that truly makes every interaction count. In this busy and rewarding role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our incredible supporters handling calls, emails and correspondence with warmth, accuracy and a genuine passion for great service. You’ll play a key role in welcoming new supporters, deepening engagement, retaining loyal donors and ensuring every supporter feels valued and understood. From managing donations and Direct Debits to resolving complex queries, spotting fundraising opportunities and supporting emergency appeals, you’ll help shape a supporter experience we can be proud of.
