Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons to SEN classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-set or planned schemes of work
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Manage pupil behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Provide 1:1 or small group support when required
- Ensure classrooms are safe, calm, and well-organised
- Report back to teaching staff on progress or behaviour as needed
- Attend staff briefings or meetings when required
Key Skills:
- Previous experience working in a secondary or SEN school setting
- Confident with classroom and behaviour management
- Adaptable, reliable, and proactive in supporting students with additional needs
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- QTS is desirable but not essential
