Supply Teacher Key Details Position: Supply Teacher Location: Birmingham (Secondary Schools) Contract: Flexible day-to-day cover Pay: 175 – 195 per day (no planning or marking) Subjects: General cover across a range of subjects Start Date: January 2026 The Role We are recruiting reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Birmingham from January 2026. This role offers flexible day-to-day cover, making it ideal for teachers seeking a better work-life balance or a varied teaching experience without the pressures of planning and marking. You’ll deliver pre-set work, maintain positive classroom behaviour, and ensure continuity of learning across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects. Each day brings a new opportunity to work in different school settings while gaining valuable classroom experience. The Candidate We’re looking for confident and professional teachers who can quickly adapt to new environments. You should be: A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs welcome) Confident managing classrooms across KS3 and KS4 Flexible, reliable, and proactive Comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects Committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement The Schools You’ll be working across a variety of secondary schools in Birmingham, ranging from large academies to smaller community schools.
