Summary: The Supply Planner role at pladis involves managing the factory's capacity plan and production schedule to ensure high customer service levels and efficient inventory management. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the factory detailed capacity plan & master production schedule to deliver 98.5% inbound service level.
- Generate a 12-week detailed capacity plan for the site.
- Convert the next 2 weeks into the factory production schedule, balancing optimal line efficiency with customer service demands.
- Represent the team in morning factory reviews to ensure minimal stoppages/waste on line.
- Review daily stock levels with the Customer Service team/factory to mitigate potential customer shorts.
- Attend the medium-term planning meeting each month to manage site expectations of the forward capacity plan.
- Deliver company inventory targets for the site.
- Use inventory analytics data to minimize excessive production and remove dead stock.
- Prevent waste in the form of clearance & finished product scrap.
- Identify non-value add SKUs to be rationalized.
- Minimize raw material waste through involvement in product transition planning.
- Control & maintain master data within the planning system to ensure accuracy of plans.
- Own sections of the planning document and regularly review/update operating principles.
- Demonstrate positive behaviors in line with the GOA21 framework.
- Multi-skill and learn to cover at least one other supply planning role.
- Visit sites to collaborate & enhance relationships as required.
- Take on additional project work to build the business.
Key Skills:
- High degree of understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes.
- Proven Supply Planning Experience within FMCG.
- Strong IT literacy with strong spreadsheet knowledge (e.g., Excel).
- Highly numerate and analytical.
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize workload & cope with pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to negotiate and influence at a Senior level.
