Summary: The Supply Chain & Quality Manager (SCQM) will serve as the primary operational liaison with designated suppliers, overseeing the relationship between the supplier and Airbus. This role entails managing the purchase phase of the supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of hardware while meeting cost, performance, and quality standards. The SCQM will also support various aspects of the supply chain and engage in improvement initiatives both within Airbus and with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• OQOT delivery of hardware from suppliers
• Day-to-day contact with the supplier and management of contract execution; timely and accurate reporting to Programme Managers
• Facilitate appropriate technical interaction between project Engineering and the supplier
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the supplier to control and improve their performance
• Identify risks and propose/agree on mitigating actions
• Manage Qualification, Design, Manufacturing, Test & Shipment reviews, including taking minutes and driving actions to completion
• Manage NCR's/Deviations and chair Non-Conformance Review Meetings
• Act as a quality interface for MIP's, EEE, and M&P; support quality audits as required
• Complete annual supplier evaluations with appropriate support
• Provide local follow-up/support to development plans
• Escalate issues at the supplier or within Airbus as relevant

Key Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Engineering / Quality / Manufacturing
• Background in Aerospace, preferably in the Space industry
• Ability to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks
• Strong communication skills, including active listening and empathy
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade, influence, and convince others
• Knowledge of Procurement IT tools is beneficial
• Excellent relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others, and conflict management skills
• Negotiation level of English
