Supply Chain Programme Manager

Summary: The Supply Chain Programme Manager at NES Fircroft is tasked with defining and executing sourcing transfer projects for a global power technology company. This role involves managing a programme team, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring project execution excellence across various components. The SCPM will oversee project quality, risk management, and resource allocation while establishing governance structures for programme changes. The position requires a strong background in project management and supply chain processes within the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the work breakdown structure, sourcing packages, and supporting programmes of work for source change requirements.
• Manage programme team members and resources to maximize delivery execution timescales.
• Liaise between the A35 Portfolio and key stakeholders to ensure timely resource management decisions.
• Oversee project managers in project quality management, risk management, performance reporting, and budgeting.
• Establish a Change Control Board for approving programme changes affecting schedule or budget.
• Form and report to a steering committee advisory board for programme governance.
• Report to the head of Supply Chain Transformation Programmes.

Key Skills:

• Recognized Project Management Certification.
• Sound business and/or engineering knowledge with a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
• Significant work experience in project management, engineering, or supply chain roles.
• Understanding of OEM & Service business processes with experience in process improvement.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace component manufacturing and sourcing processes.
• Understanding of aerospace design & product change control processes.
• Ability to engage at all business levels with change management appreciation.
• Experience working in a matrix organization with dedicated and non-dedicated resources.
