Summary: The Supply Chain Planning Analyst role is essential for supporting the business transformation of the ERP system, focusing on gathering packaging information and supplier lead times from production part suppliers. The analyst will update internal databases and assist in validating internal plans for part parameters within the current ERP system. This position will work closely with the Business Transformation Plan project lead and the Supply Chain Planning Manager. The role requires a strong understanding of business process improvement and analytical thinking to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather packaging information and supplier lead times from production part suppliers.

description: Supply Chain Planning Analyst: 12 Months Desford, UK Pay: £23.09/hr umbrella Inside IR35 Job Description: This role is critical to our preparation for our business transformation of our ERP system. The role will initially be responsible for primarily gathering Packaging information & Supplier Lead time from production part suppliers and updating internal packaging database and systems Secondarily part of the role will help with the validation of internal plan for every part parameters in the current ERP system. The role will be guided by the Business Transformation Plan for Every Part project lead and the Supply Chain Planning Manager. Skills for required for the role: Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities. Level Working Knowledge: Gathers data for use in the analysis of business processes. Illustrates problems, opportunities and methods for improving existing business processes. Suggests ways to reduce variation and/or waste in processes. Helps evaluate what factors should be addressed in the change program. Participates in requirements analysis for process changes. Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
