Summary: The Supply Chain Planning Analyst role at PE Global involves gathering packaging information and supplier lead times from production part suppliers, updating internal databases, and validating internal plans within the ERP system. This position is based on-site in Desford for an initial 12-month contract and requires strong analytical skills and experience in supply chain processes. Candidates must have the appropriate visa to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather packaging information and supplier lead times from production part suppliers.
- Update internal packaging database and systems.
- Validate internal plans for every part parameter in the current ERP system.
- Work on strategic level projects, data validation, and coordinate with the global supply base.
- Gather data for analysis of business processes.
- Assist in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity.
- Use tools to forecast delivery times, determine costs, and assess performance.
Key Skills:
- Advanced Excel knowledge, including pivot tables and V lookups.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Desirable supply chain experience.
- Power BI knowledge is a nice to have.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Logistics management experience.

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst for a leading multinational manufacturer of construction and mining equipment client based in Desford. This is an initial 12 months contract position working on site 5 days a week. Pay rate is £17.21ph PAYE or £23.57ph Umbrella. ***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in UK***
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
- Responsible for primarily gathering Packaging information & Supplier Lead time from production part suppliers and updating internal packaging database and systems
- Will help with the validation of internal plan for every part parameters in the current ERP system.
- Working on strategic level project, data validation, coordinating with global supply base.
- Gathers data for use in the analysis of business processes.
- Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity.
- Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance.
Education/Experience
- Advanced excel knowledge, pivot tables, V lookups, able to use flow charts.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
- Supply Chain Experience is desirable.
- Power BI is a nice to have, not essential.
