Key Responsibilities:
- Gather packaging information and manage supplier lead times for production part suppliers.
- Update internal packaging databases and systems.
- Work on strategic level projects and data validation.
- Coordinate with global supply base, including suppliers from Japan, China, India, Europe, and the US.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders within the supply chain team.
Key Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Previous experience in supply chain or materials planning, preferably in the transport industry.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Confidence to communicate effectively at all levels, from suppliers to senior leaders.
- Experience and attitude valued over formal education.

description: Supply Chain Planning Analyst Location: Desford Rate: up to £17.67 PAYE per hour Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 months (with potential to extend) Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:00 / 08:00 – 16:00. Some flexibility on start and finish times available, would need to be discussed with the manager. Fully onsite role. 5 days a week. Overview Initially responsible for primarily gathering Packaging information & Supplier Lead time production part suppliers and updating internal packaging database and systems. Role would be working on strategic level project, data validation, coordinating with global supply base. Critical activity tied with project deliverables. Working as part of Supply Chain team, Global suppliers in Japan, China, India, Europe, US etc. A lot of variety of people to work with. We’re looking for someone with: Advanced Excel skills – Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and more Previous experience in supply chain/materials planning (transport industry preferred) A problem-solver mindset Confidence to communicate at all levels, from suppliers to senior leaders A degree is not required – we value experience and attitude above all.
