Summary: The Supply Chain Domain Solution Architect role is focused on supporting a major retail transformation programme aimed at modernising supply chain, inventory, and logistics capabilities. The position involves shaping solution architecture across various domains including procurement, inventory management, and distribution within a multi-brand retail environment. The architect will also be responsible for governance and integration of ERP systems. This role requires a strong background in supply chain environments and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape solution architecture across procurement, supplier integration, inventory/stock management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Design end-to-end supply chain and inventory solutions.
- Manage inventory lifecycle design including stock, batch/lot traceability, and expiry management.
- Integrate ERP and supply chain platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle).
- Define target and transitional architectures.
- Govern architecture across delivery teams and vendors.
- Support large-scale transformation and ERP modernisation programmes.
Key Skills:
- Strong background as a Solution or Domain Architect in supply chain environments.
- Retail experience in multi-brand, high-volume operations.
- Experience with ERP/supply chain systems (SAP / Oracle or equivalent).
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework experience.
- Strong stakeholder and governance experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience in food retail/FMCG is beneficial but not essential.
