Summary: The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing subcontractor relationships and ensuring the efficient operation of supply chain processes within a company. This role involves coordinating onboarding, scheduling work orders, and maintaining accurate databases while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and subcontractors. The position is office-based in Tunbridge Wells and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors delivering maintenance, repairs, and project work.
- Coordinate onboarding and inductions, ensuring all documentation, insurance, and accreditations are current.
- Maintain and update the subcontractor database with accurate, compliant information.
- Support the allocation and scheduling of work orders based on performance, capacity, and location.
- Ensure works are allocated correctly and subcontractors receive all necessary details for each job.
- Respond promptly to updates received via mailboxes, portals, and planners, ensuring tasks are completed within target timescales to meet KPIs.
- Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, internal teams, and residents.
- Provide operational teams with timely updates on subcontractor availability, performance, and any issues.
- Promote a culture of partnership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Supervisors and Managers to review diaries and optimise service delivery.
- Assist with complaints investigations and respond effectively to queries from tenants, staff, and residents.
- Liaise with clients to keep all relevant databases up to date.
- Help collate supply and material information from approved suppliers and record cost data accurately.
- Maintain a proactive approach and support colleagues with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
