Summary: The Supply Chain Business Analyst role focuses on enhancing warehouse management processes and SAP EWM implementation within a major programme in Leicester. The position requires collaboration with IT, business teams, and third-party stakeholders to optimize supply chain operations. The successful candidate will document business requirements, support testing and training, and monitor KPIs for continuous improvement. This contract role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements across supply chain and warehouse functions
- Analyse and optimise current operations, performing gap analyses and identifying improvements
- Maintain process documentation (flows, specs, manuals)
- Support testing, training, and rollout of SAP EWM solutions
- Monitor KPIs to evaluate process performance and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements and system changes
Key Skills:
- 7+ years as a Business Analyst within supply chain & logistics environments
- Hands-on experience with SAP EWM/WM, preferably in an implementation/consulting capacity
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics
- Experience with SAP MM, SD, LE, and S/4HANA desirable
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, IT, Business or similar
- A consulting mindset with strong stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced project team
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
