Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Risk Management Insight: Provide market insight and examples of best practices on how to integrate supplier risk management controls into sourcing processes, supplier selection, and contractual discussions.
- Supplier Risk Methodology: Support in the development and implementation of the supplier risk management framework methodology and other key governance documents, such as the ‘Due Diligence Policy’. Look to embed a continuous improvement approach which aligns to the organisations risk appetite.
- Supplier Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive supplier risk assessments using a variety of internal and external tools across the supplier lifecycle (onboarding to termination). Support in the creation of a risk classification and risk scorecard methodology and the management of third-party tools and assessment outputs.
- Ongoing Risk Monitoring: Monitor emerging threats and market trends to proactively address potential risks using in-house and external tools.
Requirements: Experience working in procurement risk management, preferably within the procurement and supply chain domain and from either a blue-chip in-house procurement team or a consulting / professional services organisation. Strong understanding of supplier risk management principles, including EU regulations and relevant certification schemes.
