Summary: The role of Quality Inspector - Aerospace Electrical Systems involves conducting inspections and verifications of aerospace electrical systems at a supplier facility in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham. The position requires adherence to AS9102 standards and collaboration with internal and external quality teams. The contract is set to last until at least June 2026, with a standard day shift schedule. The role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards
- Perform detailed Product Verification checks for aerospace electrical systems
- Liaise with internal quality teams and external supplier representatives
- Review and validate documentation to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
- Support root cause investigations and provide input for corrective actions
- Identify and raise quality concerns or risks proactively
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of aerospace electronics and electrical distribution systems
- Experience in inspection of aerospace components
- Familiarity with FAI processes (AS9102) and documentation requirements
- Some experience or understanding of auditing processes in a regulated environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Salary (Rate): £34.90/hour
