Summary: The Supplier Contract Risk Manager role at ABN AMRO focuses on managing Third Party and Supply Chain Risk in response to increasing regulatory demands and cybersecurity threats. This position is pivotal in establishing a new department dedicated to ensuring supplier contracts meet high standards of risk management and compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance risk management processes and tools. This is an opportunity for a Junior or Medior professional to contribute significantly from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and contribute to process and tool improvement initiatives for identifying, analyzing, managing, and reporting risks in contracts and suppliers.
- Coordinate and implement the impact of laws and regulations on supplier contracts while ensuring data quality.
- Maintain oversight of the supplier portfolio and associated risk profiles, identifying and discussing bottlenecks, opportunities, or threats in a timely manner.
- Advise and support business units and procurement in selecting, contracting, and managing suppliers with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Conduct analyses on aggregation and concentration risks and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication and escalation of supplier risks to involved parties, including contract owners and audit committees.
- Facilitate training and awareness among stakeholders as needed.
Key Skills:
- 2 - 5 years of experience in contract management.
- Demonstrable experience with risk awareness.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of the banking sector, including related areas such as ICT and Facilities services.
- Knowledge and/or experience with the CATS CM methodology.
