- Report to the Supplier Accounts Manager and participate in meetings to discuss supplier performance and KPIs.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and contractual obligations.
- Conduct audits and report on irregularities or risks, recommending future actions.

Supplier Accounts Controller Are you looking for an opportunity that is varied, challenging and offers the opportunity to enhance and improve the supplier accounts process within our wider Property team? We have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month fixed term contrac t as a Supplier Accounts Controller to work in a varied role and provide high level support to the Building Services function. The Supplier Accounts Controller takes the lead for the on-going performance and invoice management for a number of maintenance suppliers, across a number of contracts worth circa £75m. You will manage the review of selected invoices for your allocated suppliers. You will also routinely train and educate allocated suppliers, and then feedback on issues identified and any areas of concern with a view to improve and maintain performance levels. As a Supplier Accounts Controller, you will maintain excellent working relationships with Heads of Maintenance, Area Building Managers and the maintenance supply chain. In this role, you will report into our Supplier Accounts Manager. This is a office based role at our Retail Support Centre in Central Birmingham.

The Opportunity – Supply Accounts Controller Regulatory; Ensure the companies liquor and associated licenses are not endangered at any time. Ensure health, safety considerations are paramount in all decisions and activities. Legal; Read and understand relevant sections of contracts for allocated suppliers. Ensure that the financial terms of the contracts are being adhered to. Ensure that contractual KPIs are adhered to. Ensure that contractual rates are reflected in the CAFM. Feedback on areas which don’t perform as well as they should for future improvements. Cost Management; Review selected invoices for allocated suppliers to ensure they meet the terms of the contract. Highlight any that do not meet the criteria and return these to the supplier. Agree prices for regularly occurring materials. Compare performance with similar contractors from the peer group. Supplier Management; Liaise with Area Building Manager ahead of meetings to identify issues. Review Previous KPIs to ensure continuous improvement. Meet with the supplier either in person or virtually at the agreed intervals and review KPIs. Provide minutes of meetings. Highlight to the supplier KPIs for improvement and record improvement plan. RAG rate supplier and prepare recommendations for future action. Feedback to Area Building Managers and other interested parties. Audit; Where irregularities or areas of risk are found, report back and recommend future actions. Training; As required provide training to the allocated suppliers.
