Sun Systems Finance Consultant

Robertson Bell are proud to be supporting a high-profile international charity in their search for an experienced Sun Systems Consultant to provide interim support.

The organisation has recently upgraded to the cloud version of Sun Accounts and is now looking for an expert to help embed the new system and enhance their financial reporting capabilities. We can be flexible on whether this role is part-time or full-time, with the overall contract length dependent on the agreed working pattern.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of Sun Accounts Cloud.
• Optimising use of the system, including developing more streamlined reporting.
• Bridging the gap between the finance team’s needs and the system’s functionality.
• Identifying opportunities to leverage the system’s capabilities, such as through integration with Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Sun Accounts, ideally including the cloud version.
• Strong technical skills in areas such as report writing, data extraction and dashboard creation.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both the finance team and third-party providers.
• A collaborative approach to working closely with staff across the organisation.
