Summary: The SUMS Pack Deployment and Compatibility Operational Test Engineer role involves working for a Luxury Automotive OEM in Gaydon on a long-term contract basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for repair and maintenance work in accordance with quality control standards.
- Carry out technical diagnosis and documentation of results based on the procedures.
- Level: A Specialist Para-Professional (S4) requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
Key Skills:
- Diagnostic and repair of mechanical vehicle systems i.e. engine and chassis systems
- Software updates and testing.
- Service, diagnostics & repair operations on current vehicles.
- Provision of technical feedback for fault identification and support of subsystem development.
- Preparation, fitment & removal of test components.
- Assembly / replacement of systems / components.
- Manufacture / modification of electrical harnesses.
- Diagnose / trace faults, rectify and validate issues.
- Use of computer diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret drawings and liaise with engineering departments.
- Fitment of harnesses and other components.
- Engineer "one off" solutions to overcome issue.

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a SUMS Pack Deployment and Compatibility Operational Test Engineer to join their team on a long term rolling contract
40 hours per week
