Summary: The Subject Access Request Clerical Administrator will play a vital role in the Information Governance Team by processing Subject Access requests and managing health records. This position requires strong administrative skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with Trust policies. The role involves retrieving and copying patient records, conducting identification checks, and managing team communications. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of health record management within the NHS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process the backlog of Access to Health Records requests in accordance with Trust policy and guidance.
- Retrieve and copy health records as directed by the Information Governance Administrator.
- Access data sources and computer systems under supervision.
- Escalate concerns or queries outside the role's remit as per team guidance.
- Assist with redaction of documents as requested.
- Ensure all documentation related to requests, photocopying, consents, and identification checks is processed consistently and legally compliant.
