Summary: The Sub Agent role involves overseeing enabling works on-site, collaborating closely with the Site Agent and project team to ensure safe and efficient project delivery. This position is site-based and offers an initial long-term contract with potential for extension based on project needs. The candidate will be responsible for managing site operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in substations, is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day management of site operations.
  • Managing enabling works making performed safely.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.
  • Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme.
  • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of health & safety on site.
  • Assisting with RAMS, permits, and site documentation.
  • Liaising with the client, local authority, and design teams as required.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Sub Agent or similar role on substations.
  • Experience with enabling works.
  • CSCS (essential).
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (essential).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
