Summary: The Student Systems Developer role focuses on enhancing the Ellucian Banner platform and supporting various student systems within a leading UK Higher Education institution. The position requires expertise in PL/SQL and Java, along with strong communication skills for user support and stakeholder interaction. Key Responsibilities:

Student Systems (Ellucian Banner) Developer - Liverpool/Hybrid
We are working with one of the UK's leading Higher Education institutions as they look to a Student Systems Developer skilled in Banner, PL/SQL and Java to join their Student Systems Team. This team is pivotal to tracking of the student life cycle.
You will be developing, maintaining and supporting systems, in particular the Banner platform in addition to working on other projects which include a new CRM and Student Portal and the Team's ongoing work in relation to migrating systems to the cloud.
This is a front facing role as you will offer support to users and interact with stakeholders across the board, so excellent communication skills are required.
It is essential that you have experience with the Ellucian Banner platform and Oracle PL/SQL. Experience of Java is also important.
This is initially a 6 month fixed term salaried contract, you would attract the same exceptional benefit offered to permanent staff members. These include in total in excess of 40 days annual leave, a pension of 20% and a raft of other attractive benefits.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be onsite in central Liverpool 2 days a week and so you must live within a commutable distance.
Essential skills and experience required:
- Experience with Ellucian Banner.
