Summary: The role of Strukturingeniør involves overseeing structural discipline deliveries in offers, studies, and execution projects. The engineer will develop design solutions for structural elements and collaborate closely with procurement and other disciplines to ensure effective project execution. Responsibilities also include estimating work scope, specifying materials, and utilizing PDMS/E3D models in conjunction with 3D scanning and offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for deliveries within the structural discipline in offers, studies, and execution projects.
  • Develop design technical solutions for structural elements, skids, supports, etc., according to regulations, national/international standards, and customer requirements.
  • Follow-up/verification of equipment suppliers.
  • Close collaboration with the procurement organization.
  • Participate in meetings and provide input for reports.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines.
  • Estimate work scope.
  • PDE (Project Discipline Engineer)/work packages.
  • Job set and prepare work documentation for prefab and installation.
  • Specify and order necessary materials.
  • Follow up on procurement, fabrication, and installation of designed equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal project disciplines to find safe, effective, and cost-efficient solutions and coordinate deliveries.
  • Utilize PDMS/E3D model in combination with 3D scanning and offshore.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum bachelor's or master's degree in structural or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience from modification projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK and ISO standards.
  • Experience working independently in multidisciplinary modification projects with responsibility for detailed engineering of structural deliveries.
  • Experience and understanding of installation aids related to lifting and installation methods.
  • Experience with offshore inspections is an advantage.
  • Broad structural background with experience from various types of projects - good multidisciplinary understanding.
  • Experience with job setting and preparing work documentation for prefab and installation.
  • PDMS/E3D experience.
  • Fluent in Norwegian (preferred) and English (required), both spoken and written.
  • MS Office is a requirement.
  • Experience with Microstation, STID, Procosys, SAP, ARIS, PDMS/E3D design and drafting is desirable.
  • Offshore certification is an advantage.
  • Experience with collaboration between nations and international office locations is desirable.
