Summary: The Structural Integrity Engineer role involves providing structural inspection and integrity management support to ensure compliance with various requirements for client assets. The position requires the implementation and maintenance of a Structural Integrity Management System, oversight of structural integrity issues, and the preparation of integrity reports. The engineer will also support operations and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure ongoing structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain & develop the Structural Integrity Management System on nominated asset(s).
  • Act as the focal point for all structural integrity issues on nominated asset(s).
  • Maintain MCDR register (ONE-Aim) and ensure assessment of structural defects with remedial actions.
  • Support Operations by maintaining RO register and attending monthly RO meetings.
  • Ensure accuracy of Structural Integrity KPIs in Process Safety Dashboard and provide monthly comments.
  • Verify accuracy of weekly inspection plans and monthly inspection progress reports from Inspection Contractor.
  • Implement annual subsea structural inspection scopes and review results and anomalies.
  • Generate deferrals for structural inspections and submit for approval.
  • Prepare annual integrity reports analyzing inspection results and recommendations for ongoing integrity.
  • Communicate reports to stakeholders via presentations.
  • Support Structural TA, CNS, and NNS Structural Engineers in developing and maintaining the Structural Integrity Management System.
  • Develop and issue inspection work packs for topsides structural components.
  • Provide input into workpacks for subsea structural components and create Nexus Task listings for ROV surveys.
  • Support Structural TA, CNS, and NNS Structural Engineers in structural RBI Assessments.
  • Assist in developing annual integrity budgets and provide monthly updates on inspection spend and forecasts.
  • Supervise specialist vendor structural integrity activities.
  • Ensure Technical Compliance with Integrity Management Standards and relevant regulations.
  • Support communications with regulatory bodies and ensure timely information presentation.
  • Follow up on HSE and IVB audit findings related to structural integrity.
  • Conduct routine offshore visits and perform safety and technical site audits.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status with an appropriate engineering council registered body.
  • Postgraduate or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Current Offshore Medical, BOSIET & MIST certifications.
