Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Marine Team as a Senior Designer.
- Liaise with other disciplines, clients, and vendors.
- Coordinate with project team members across global offices.
- Deliver tasks within timelines and budget constraints.
- Create project-specific job notes, guides, and training materials.
- Organize schedules and resources to meet project deadlines.
- Break project tasks down to drawing level and estimate resources for milestones.
- Manage a remote team of designers.
- Work efficiently both independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Identify priorities and respond flexibly to urgent issues.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Key Skills:
- Marine and Structural Designer with formal qualification or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience.
- Proficient in Aveva Marine.
- Able to advise and guide junior designers.
- Ability to manage a remote team of designers.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
