Summary: The role is for a senior or principal level structural designer with a leading energy EPC in Aberdeen, focusing on a contract basis for an initial 6 months. The position requires expertise in structural engineering, specifically in producing detailed design drawings for structural steelwork in the North Sea context. The candidate will work on-site in Aberdeen for part of the week and remotely for the remainder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce structural steelwork drawings of Jacket & topsides in AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design process.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design reviews.
Key Skills:
- Minimum HNC in structural engineering.
- At least 5 years of UK North Sea detailed design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for structural design.
- Strong understanding of structural steelwork design principles.

Applicants should be qualified to a minimum HNC in structural engineering and have at least 5 years of UK North Sea detailed design experience in the production of structural steelwork drawings of Jacket & topsides in AutoCAD.
The client is looking for a presence in Aberdeen Mon-Wed and will offer remote working for the rest of the week.
