Summary: As a Stratus Engineer, you will collaborate with the client's Enterprise Core Services Team to support Stratus systems across EMEA, US, and APAC. Your role involves addressing application queries, checking system functions, and responding to ticket requests while ensuring the Stratus implementation is effectively managed. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Core Services Team to support Stratus systems.
- Address application queries and check system functions.
- Respond to ticket requests and provide support for Stratus VOS hardware and software.
- Participate in on-call duties and weekend cover as needed.
- Visit data centres during the contract as required.
- Assist in the training process for the Pune team.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge/experience with Stratus VOS hardware and software.
- Experience with Unix, Rafta, Macro, and scripting (Python & Perl).
- Understanding of SAN (SAN Storage).
- Middleware and midrange understanding.

Job Title: Stratus Engineer
Hybrid: 3 Days onsite

Role: Enterprise Core Services Team supporting Stratus systems utilised across EMEA, US & APAC.
Infrastructure Core are a global organisation within Group Tech Infrastructure & Security Engineering. They cover 24/7 support model. Including on call duties currently shared by UK SMEs. They would typically alternate 2/4 weekends for on call cover. In addition to the UK SME, they also have 4 trained staff in Pune, India with an additional worker in training. They provide an SME function for Stratus in London. It is a tier 2 application under deconstruction which could take up to 3 years or longer. It is still in use for trading functions.
The candidate will support application queries, check system functions and respond to ticket requests. They may even visit the data centres during the contract. The candidate must have knowledge/experience of working with Stratus VOS hardware & software. The Stratus implementation is supported in-house making use of real time software. They should be able to fully configure. It would be great if they have knowledge/experience with Unix, Rafta, Macro, and scripting (Python & Perl). It would be great if they have knowledge/experience with SAN (SAN Storage). They should have middleware & midrange understanding. They may also have to be involved with the PUNE team’s training process.
