Summary: The Strategy and Planning COO role within the Chief Technology Office focuses on supporting the CTO organization through expert financial, business, and resource management. The position involves managing change portfolios to align strategic priorities with execution, ensuring effective demand management, and delivering streamlined governance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive the CTO's vision and strategy while overseeing the delivery of strategic outcomes across complex global change portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable decentralized delivery, minimizing dependencies, and maximizing collaboration across CTO Areas.
  • Manage demand effectively to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Support alignment of funding and capacity to drive delivery of strategic outcomes and OKRs.
  • Deliver streamlined governance and reporting through a simplified operating model.
  • Own and deliver strategic planning cycles across change portfolios.
  • Develop business cases and validate benefits to support transformation initiatives.
  • Engage regularly with senior stakeholders at C-suite and director level.
  • Manage risks across CTO and ensure effective communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Deliver portfolio level reporting associated with strategy and planning.
  • Support leadership development within the CTO Change portfolio management team.
  • Manage portfolio budgets to meet annual operating plans and identify savings opportunities.
  • Ensure alignment of CTO programs with other programs within the client's Technology.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of strategic portfolio management experience, ideally in Financial Services technology.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and leadership skills.
