Summary: The Strategic Workforce Planning & Workforce Analytics Lead will oversee workforce planning within the Information & Digital Directorate at the FCDO, ensuring compliance with HR policies and budget constraints. This role involves providing strategic insights and analysis to support decision-making on current and future resourcing options. The position requires engagement with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective workforce planning processes and reporting capabilities. The contract is for 3 months and is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist support and advice to improve strategic workforce planning processes.
- Develop and maintain a Reporting and MI approach on workforce characteristics for stakeholder clarity.
- Facilitate engagement and upskilling among stakeholders to embed a strategic workforce planning mindset.
- Establish strategic workforce planning processes aligned with CIPD standards.
- Maintain current workforce data and capabilities, assessing internal talent to meet demands.
- Analyze workforce demand to assess resource requirements for future FCDO goals.
- Conduct gap analysis comparing available resources with future needs.
- Establish action plans and track progress to close identified skills and capability gaps.
