Strategic sourcing & Vendor Manager

Join Our Team You will contribute to the development of a recently established procurement and vendor management function including strategy, policy, systems and processes to optimize spend and mitigate risk, maximizing value realization from all vendors Understand vendor spending by category, cost center, region and vendor. Classify, rationalize and optimize the vendor portfolio, and concentrate efforts on managing the most strategic vendors. Create contract, performance, relationship and risk management procedures. Ensure there are clear metrics across all key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure strong performance management. Identify and execute value opportunities with key vendor relationships. Analyze vendor delivery problem areas and help resolve issues and disputes. Manage the communications process with vendors. Mitigating, monitoring and managing vendor risks Conducting due diligence on vendors to confirm financial viability, business continuity and corporate and regulatory compliance. Assess and report on the risk level of vendors based on financial, skills, tools and the use of third parties. Establish a matrixed Global Operating Model for Vendor management Your Skills and Abilities Should Include: Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management, including management of third-party vendors, in-depth sourcing and commercial expertise. 5 or more years of experience in project/asset management, procurement, and vendor relations in a technology environment are desirable. Proven ability to establish KPIs and adjust those KPIs based on changing Geo-Political events Strong organizational, execution and negotiating skills. Must be able to grasp operations economics & cost drivers. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience is desired, but not required.
