We are seeking an experienced, self-driven Strategic Procurement Manager to join a high-performing team at our Warwick site. This is a purely strategic procurement role, focusing on long-term sourcing, supplier strategies, and contract negotiations rather than operational procurement.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing activities and negotiate contracts for low- to high-value aerospace and industrial components to optimise cost, ensure supply continuity, and secure commercial advantage.
- Undertake contractual and price negotiations with new and existing suppliers, mitigating commercial risk and maximising value for current and future programmes.
- Conduct in-depth cost breakdown analysis, including cost estimation, to achieve the lowest Total Cost of Acquisition (TCA) and support divisional cost-saving targets.
- Develop and implement robust commodity and supplier strategies to meet business needs across all stakeholder areas.
- Drive cost reduction and resourcing programmes, ensuring minimal disruption to existing supply chains.
- Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure early engagement and excellent customer care.
- Integrate procurement within the project management process, participating as a core team member in project and sales meetings to influence early-stage decisions.
- Analyse scope of supply, contract agreements, and sales/operations planning to provide procurement insights and recommendations.
- Lead or support specialist buyers in contractual and price negotiations for strategic long-term contracts (5–10 years).
Your Profile:
