Summary: My Local Authority client in Central London is seeking a Strategic Lead for Integrated Commissioning on a contract basis. The role involves leading a portfolio of strategic commissioning projects within the integrated commissioning service for the council. The position requires extensive experience in integrated commissioning and project management, with a focus on recovering projects that are behind schedule. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the owner of the divisions commissioning and procurement pipeline and apply project management approaches to bringing projects in line with their planned timescales.
- Hold and deliver strategic commissioning projects within Integrated Commissioning.
- Be responsible for leading recovery of projects which are behind schedule and be expected to work flexibly across teams and service areas.
- Hold a portfolio of commissioning projects across the existing commissioning teams which cover children's, education, adults, older people, learning disabilities and mental health.
